Carol, our fearless leader, keeps us all in line. Carol is a violinist from Fort Collins, CO. She serves on the board of the ACMP and is a passionate champion of chamber music.

Joyce is the “glue guy” who holds all things SoCal together. She’s a classically trained violinist who also loves jazz and fiddling of all types. Joyce is the founder and CEO of The Music Practice Room, a company that provides mobile apps to improve musician workflows and practices.

Edie is a violinist based in Tustin, CA. She brings to SoCal her years of experience in treasury operations, risk management, and nonprofit governance.

Julie, an amazing violinist and violist, is a partner at Morrison Foerster, where she leads the firm’s San Diego office. Julie plays regularly with her quartet, the Tarka Quartet, and was a close friend and confidante of Ron Goldman, SoCal’s founder.

Gayle is a top-notch violin and viola switch-hitter based out of San Francisco. Gayle, who is a terrific architect, restores historic homes and is also an ardent supporter of chamber music. Gayle serves on the board of the Del Sol Quartet.

Chris, a violinist, is the newest member of the SoCal board. Chris plays regularly with his string quartet, the Z Quartet, and is the President of the Telegraph Quartet’s board. In his spare time, Chris builds software companies in Silicon Valley. If you don’t like this website, it’s definitely not Chris’ fault.
